Candidates should have proven EHR experience.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program
Excellent patient care and customer service skills
Willing to work in a fast paced team environment
Provide excellent care and service to our patients
Proven EHR experience

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year experience in Internal Medicine
Nationally registered as a Medical Assistant
Experienced in Primary Care

Responsibilities

Providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families
Assistance during routine exams
Recording a patient history and logging vital signs
Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results
Entering lab / diagnostic test orders
Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging
Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed
