Assist physicians with medical procedures in office. Responsible for phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and a valid driver's license. One year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician's office with the ability to perform venipuncture is necessary. The position demands strong analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, customer service, and self-management skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and EMR systems is required. The role involves working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with occasional overtime and weekend shifts based on operational needs. The Medical Assistant will be expected to work at any AON location to meet business needs and assist in training new employees.
