About The Position
Under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor and guided by Ambulatory Services policies and procedures, the Hospital Assistant III assists in the delivery of care to patients in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery within ambulatory group practices. This role supports patient care through a variety of personal care and clinical procedures and collaborates with clinical nursing staff to ensure positive care outcomes. Responsibilities include performing assigned patient care and laboratory procedures in support of specialty services. The position also supports outpatient clinical operations across UCSF Health sites, ensuring excellent customer service and facilitating accurate information flow between medical staff, hospital staff, and departments to maximize efficiency.
