About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This is a multi-location position serving our Davenport and Clermont locations offices. Flexibility and the ability to travel between locations as needed are essential requirements of this role. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care with experience in various medical settings. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients while ensuring smooth operations within the clinic.

Requirements

• Previous experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Perform intake assessments, recording medical histories
• Maintain accurate patient records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology in daily tasks
• Support various specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, emergency medicine, and outpatient services
