About The Position
Ascension Medical Group is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for their Urogynecology department in Hoffman Estates, IL. This role involves assisting with clinical procedures, patient intake, and supporting both front and back office duties. The schedule is 20 hours per week, with specific hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Prior MA experience is a must.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with in office procedures
- Room patients, take vitals, review medication lists, and gather details regarding the reason for visit.
- Assist with both front and back office duties.
- Travel on occasion to Elk Grove Village.
