Requirements

  • CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification required
  • Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant is required.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred.
  • Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
  • Take vital signs, document patient history, and update electronic health records (EHR)
  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and administering medications or injections
  • Perform basic lab tasks, prepare specimens, and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms
  • Support front office and patient care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education
