Requirements
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual
- Willingness to work in an outpatient surgery center setting
- Ability to work closely with both the Business Office and Clinical Operations to facilitate patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to other opportunities in the outpatient surgery setting, such as Sterile Processing Technician and Surgical/Scrub Technician.
Responsibilities
- Records chart notes that follow each patient's services from Pre-Operative care, through surgery, and eventually to discharge.
- Assists the nurses and surgical technicians with managing supplies and materials used throughout the facility.
- Assists during patient examinations and procedures.
- Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations.
- Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.
- Provides cross-coverage for business office functions as necessary to support patient flow and ensure continuity of operations.
