Requirements
- 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Medical Assistant Certification or Medical Assistant Diploma
- IV placement proficiency
- Current BLS for Healthcare Provider/AED certification
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Assisting physicians and technologists during imaging procedures
- Preparing patients before and after appointments with clear and compassionate communication
- Initiating IVs as needed
- Administering oral medications under Radiologist supervision
- Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures
- Supporting emergency preparedness by maintaining emergency carts and medications
- Ensuring supplies are stocked and instruments are properly sterilized
- Maintaining compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all applicable safety regulations
