Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
  • Prior experience in a clinical or medical office setting is a preferred
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy clinical environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and coding is a bonus
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

  • Assist clinical staff with patient intake, vital signs, and medical histories
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper supply levels
  • Perform basic clinical procedures as directed
  • Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, follow-up care, and appointment reminders
  • Process insurance information, referrals, and prior authorizations
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols
