About The Position
This is a flexible, part-time Medical Assistant role designed to work around your schedule. Whether you’re looking for 2 days a week or 4 days a week we’ll build a consistent schedule that fits your availability. You’ll work in a focused dermatology setting with a supportive care team, meaningful patient interactions, and no chaotic primary-care pace.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant with clinical experience
- Experience with EMA / Modernizing Medicine strongly preferred (training available)
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
- Dependable, flexible, and motivated to deliver an exceptional patient experience
Nice To Haves
- Dermatology or surgical experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for exams
- Scribe for providers and update electronic medical records (EMA / Modernizing Medicine)
- Assist during Mohs procedures, excisions, and minor surgeries
- Label, process, and prepare specimens for the lab
- Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care
- Support providers during additional testing and procedures
- Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for
- Occasionally assist with tasks outside standard MA duties to support clinic operations
