About The Position

We are currently hiring Medical Assistants for our FPG Silverstein Institute and Head & Neck Surgery offices. These medical offices offer medical and surgical treatment for ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions for both adult and pediatric patients. Virtual online interviews are being scheduled on Wednesday, June 6th, 2026 between 10 AM and 4 PM. Please apply if interested! Once your application is reviewed - if qualified, you will be contacted for further screening and to schedule a virtual interview time. Virtual interviews will be scheduled for approximately 15 minutes. In-person interviews and shadowing will be scheduled after for those who progress to the next step. A $750 hiring bonus is available for certified Medical Assistants. Must have active MA certification at time of hire to qualify for the bonus. The Clinical Care Coordinator I (Medical Assistants) work directly with patients and assist healthcare providers with day-to-day clinical care. Once you apply, you will be sent a clinical assessment that is required to complete online. You will receive an email with instructions (system is called Relias).

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Healthcare Association (NHA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) OR Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by: American Medical Technologists (AMT), Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA), National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP); OR a certified EMT.
  • Experienced medical assistants with a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience, and with a certification from a certifying agency not noted above, or without certification, agrees to register with one of the currently accepted agencies for MA Certification and schedule a test date within 6 months from date of hire. Test for certification may be beyond the six (6) month date. Certification must be received and presented to HR within 12 months of date of hire.
  • High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification; or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date (required for all clinical positions). We accept BLS certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

  • Preparing patients for exams and procedures
  • Escorting patients to exam rooms
  • Taking vitals
  • Recording medical histories and current concerns
  • Document provider notes, procedures and patient instructions
