Our practice offers comprehensive services across general neurology, movement disorders, neuromuscular and neuroimmunology conditions, and headache disorders. Our Headache Clinic is growing rapidly, creating an exciting opportunity for a Medical Assistant to work closely with specialized headache providers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role offers hands-on involvement in patient care, including direct support in our expanding Botox clinic, and the opportunity to contribute to a highly regarded and innovative neurology program. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of work As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Successful completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
  • AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required within 120 Days
  • AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Required within 120 Days
  • NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) Required within 120 Days
  • NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) Required within 120 Days
  • NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) Required within 120 Days

Nice To Haves
