About The Position

The Float Pool Medical Assistant provides essential staffing support across Overlake’s outpatient and urgent care services. This position supports multiple Urgent Care clinics and requires travel to locations in Bellevue, Issaquah, Newcastle and Redmond. Float Pool Medical Assistants are cross‑trained to support urgent care, front and back office duties ensuring high-quality patient care and operational continuity. This role is ideal for adaptable, team‑oriented medical assistants who enjoy variety in their work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) through WA State DOH required.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Reliable personal vehicle required for travel between clinic locations.

Nice To Haves

• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
