This role is hands-on because great care starts face-to-face.

Requirements

Have experience as a Medical Assistant , completed coursework in the field, or are eager to gain hands-on patient care experience.
Previous phlebotomy experience.
Care deeply about making a difference in community health.
Excel in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.

Responsibilities

Escort patients to exam rooms and create a welcoming environment that sets the tone for exceptional care.
Accurately measure and record vital signs in the EHR to provide the care team with the details they need.
Log symptoms and medical history with precision, ensuring nothing important is overlooked.
Perform injections, vaccinations, and other treatments with expertise and compassion.
Provide clear explanations about procedures, helping patients feel informed and empowered.
Collect blood and urine samples to support accurate evaluations.
Schedule future appointments to ensure patients stay on track with their health.
Go between locations when help is needed
Participate in initiatives to improve processes and contribute wherever your team needs you.
