About The Position

Salud is seeking a Temporary Medical Assistant to join their team. The role involves providing welcoming care to patients, acting as the first point of contact before they see a Doctor, NP, or PA. The Medical Assistant will determine the nature of the patient's visit, obtain vital signs, and maintain thorough and concise chart documentation for clear communication. They will also be responsible for keeping the environment clean and organized for both patients and staff. The company emphasizes a team-based system of care where medical, dental, behavioral health services, and clinical pharmacists coordinate efforts to improve patient quality of life, serving all individuals regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

Requirements

Current Medical Assistant Certificate
High school diploma or equivalent required
The ability to work with people from all walks of life and to meet them in their place of need

Nice To Haves

Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program, a minimum of 6 months in length, preferred.
Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
