About The Position

Our clinic is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our compassionate, high-performing team. As a dedicated Medical Assistant, combine clinical skills with a compassionate approach to ensure patients receive the highest level of care! This role offers a 1.0 FTE, 80 hours bi-weekly, with a Monday - Friday, Day Shifts schedule. The position is located at Moundview Friendship Clinic. Requirements

Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN
High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification
BLS for healthcare workers
Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients by greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile and setting the tone for their appointments
Update patient information in charting systems
Take vitals
Assist with project work that supports the department.
Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys.
