Our clinic is a small, community-focused primary care office serving patients from birth through end of life in a rural Hastings, Michigan setting. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. This role is highly clinical and offers a broad range of hands-on responsibilities. Team members can expect to room patients, perform point-of-care testing, administer immunizations for both pediatric and adult populations, assist with procedures, maintain clinic logs, and support overall clinical operations. Individuals in this position play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient flow and exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a hands-on competency-based medical assistant training program
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
  • One of the following Required within 120 Days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA)
