About The Position

Peachtree Immediate Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for a regional float position serving clinics in Carrollton and Villa Rica, Georgia. The role is described as full-time, with three 12-hour shifts per week and rotating weekends. The successful candidate will work directly with patients in a fast-paced urgent care setting and support providers with clinical care, procedures, laboratory work, and related services. The position involves traveling between regional locations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, with certification preferred, or licensed as an LPN or EMT.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation to travel between regional locations.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced urgent care setting with varied medical responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant certification.
• One to two years of experience in an outpatient or clinical setting; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical providers with patient care, examinations, and minor procedures.
• Measure vital signs, document patient information, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Conduct laboratory tests, administer medications, and perform wound care as directed.
• Keep examination rooms and medical equipment clean and safe.
• Support occupational health services and radiographic imaging where applicable.
• Promote patient comfort by answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Follow safety and infection-control protocols.
