About The Position

Celebration Health & Wellness is a high-volume, multi-provider private practice specializing in Women’s and Children’s Health. With over 25 years of experience, our dedicated team is committed to providing exceptional care and is continuously expanding. We invite you to join our team! As a Medical Assistant, you'll be vital in delivering compassionate care to our youngest patients under the supervision of our skilled providers.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English & Spanish
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • High School Diploma and Associate Degree in Medical Assisting or Certification in Medical Assisting.
  • CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant (e.g., CMA, RMA)
  • Proficiency in EMR software preferred but must be willing to learn.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a positive environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
  • Attention to detail in all tasks
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Davenport, FL before starting work

  • EMR systems: 1 years (Preferred)
  • Vital signs: 1 years (Preferred)
  • PEDIATRICS: 1 years (Preferred)
  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • Associate's Degree or Certification in Medical Assisting (Preferred)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
  • Previous medical office experience
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records

Responsibilities

  • Measure and record patient vitals including height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse
  • Assist /Administer immunizations and injections
  • Assist with medical procedures
  • Perform routine clinic screenings and testing
  • Interview patients to gather medical history and record vital statistics and test results
  • Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms for patient examinations
  • Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician
  • Check patients in and out of the clinic and schedule follow-up appointments
  • Accurately record vital signs in EMR software
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support clinic operations and patient care
