Medical Assistant - Full Time - Dr. Nelson
About The Position
Full time Medical Assistant needed for busy orthopedic surgeon in North Oklahoma City. This position will assist the provider with rooming, interviewing and accurately documenting in EPIC. Will process forms to include referrals and for 5's. The MA has a critical role in keeping the fast-paced clinic running efficiently. Must be familiar with worker's comp, form 5's and able to professionally and efficiently work with case managers and adjusters. Non-clinic functions include prepping for clinic, H&P's for surgery, triage calls, scheduling, authorizations and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One year Medical Assistant experience required.
- Must be highly dependable and self motivated.
- Must be able to work at a very fast pace and work well within a team environment.
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
Nice To Haves
- EPIC experience is highly preferred.
- Familiar with worker's comp, form 5's.
