The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a dynamic, passionate Medical Assistant to join their team at the Easthampton Behavioral Health Clinic. This role is integral to the care team, blending clinical expertise with genuine human connection. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy/blood draws, specimen collection, preparing EKGs and lab requests, collaborating with client support networks, coordinating with local pharmacies, partnering with community agencies, managing provider schedules, visit preparation, handling prior authorizations, submitting referrals, and navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR) for chart reviews and telehealth.
