About The Position

Hiring Now for Full Time Medical Assistant for Innovative Pain Care (IPC). This role involves greeting and preparing patients for examinations and procedures, assisting healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs and collecting specimens. The Medical Assistant will also prepare examination rooms, maintain accurate medical records, schedule appointments, manage patient flow, provide customer service, and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working as a Medical Assistant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems (EHR).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as individually.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of MA program is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read manual BP is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.

• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain accurate and efficient medical records and update patient information as needed.
