About The Position

At Greater Seacoast Health’s Wakefield practice in Sanbornville, you’ll have the opportunity to use your clinical experience while working closely with providers, nurses, and other members of the care team to deliver high-quality, compassionate primary care. We’re looking for someone who is confident in their Medical Assistant skills, comfortable working in a busy primary care environment, and ready to become a dependable part of a close-knit team. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Medical MA program is required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Strong clinical skills and confidence working within the Medical Assistant scope
  • Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and adapt as patient and provider needs change
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A dependable, compassionate approach to patient care

Nice To Haves

  • CMA, RMA, or CCMA preferred
  • Two or more years of ambulatory or primary care clinical experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and room patients, take vital signs, collect specimens, and chaperone visits
  • Prepare exam rooms and make sure supplies and equipment are ready
  • Support providers during procedures and assist with immunizations
  • Coordinate medication refills, lab orders, and patient follow-ups
  • Work closely with providers, nurses, and other members of the care team
  • Help connect patients with additional health and social services when needed
  • Keep patient information confidential and help create a welcoming, respectful experience
  • Help keep the day moving by anticipating patient and provider needs and stepping in where needed
