About The Position
Morrow County Health District has an opening for a Full-time Medical Assistant at Pioneer Memorial Clinic. This position offers a pay range of $21.70-$28.60/hr DOE, with a day shift schedule. A standard four-month probationary period applies.
Requirements
- Highschool graduate or equivalent required.
- Must be able to obtain a BLS certification.
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual preferred.
- MA Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and perform a variety of procedures and assessment duties including vital signs, EKG, Oximetry testing.
- Performs phlebotomy and administers injections.
- Records and updates information in patient's electronic medical record.
- Ensures supplies are adequately stocked and outdates are pulled from supply areas.
- Assists provider as necessary and completes authorizations/referrals as requested.
