About The Position

This role is for a Medical Assistant in Primary Care at Seton Medical Group in Baltimore, MD. The position is full-time, with a schedule of Monday-Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The salary range is $20.50 - $27.34 per hour.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties.
• Interview patients to record medical history and accurately measure vital signs for charting.
• Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms while ensuring all medical supplies are ordered and stocked.
• Manage essential clerical tasks, including phone correspondence, record maintenance, and filing.
