This full-time position is for a Medical Assistant who will serve as an Onsite Telepresenter II in a Post Acute SNF setting. The role requires exemplary customer service, critical thinking, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include interviewing and recording patient medical information, measuring vital signs, updating health maintenance, identifying medication changes, updating allergy information, utilizing standard precautions, and complying with regulatory standards. The role also involves completing CLIA-approved waived laboratory tests, conducting Point of Care testing (POCT), performing Quality Control and maintenance for POCT, and developing/implementing treatment plans. Additionally, the Medical Assistant will lead lower-level staff, collect and log laboratory specimens, ensure ordered tests are tracked and logged, present test results to the care team, function as an EMR super user, and complete all required annual in-service, education, and training.
