About The Position

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP), part of Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL), provides comprehensive cardiovascular care and is committed to improving patient outcomes. CCP is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant for its CCP Now office in Paoli, Pennsylvania. The position works daily with an assigned provider and supports patient care and office operations. The role is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus, subject to the stated employment and repayment conditions.

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Ability to multitask.
• Computer knowledge.

Nice To Haves

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Familiarity with cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors.
• Experience with an EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Work with an assigned provider daily.
• Support the patient triage process.
• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Record medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signs.
• Perform EKGs and limited ultrasound as needed.
• Follow up on lab results.
• Answer phones and assist with check-in and check-out procedures when necessary.
• Assist with the precertification and billing process.
• Assist with appointment scheduling.
• Review and prepare discharge assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
