Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program preferred
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus
Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic health records (EHR), and basic clinical procedures
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and ensuring patient comfort
Assist healthcare providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures
Collect and process laboratory specimens and perform basic laboratory tests
Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records accurately
Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols
Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and health maintenance
Handle administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance documentation as needed
