The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. This work stems from Mass General Brigham’s unified system strategy to bring health care closer to patients while lowering total health care costs. The Medical Group provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral and mental health, and urgent care, both digitally as well as at physical locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The group also offers outpatient surgery and endoscopy, imaging, cardiac testing, and infusion. We share the commitment to delivering a coordinated and comprehensive experience across all locations, ensuring the appropriate level of care is available to every patient across our care delivery sites. Wentworth Health Partners (WHP), an affiliate of Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and member of Mass General Brigham Medical Group, offers Pulmonary care at our state-of-the-art facility located at 10 Members Way, Suite 401, in Dover, NH. This position will support our expert providers who specialize in the care of patients with a wide range of pulmonary and respiratory conditions, including obstructive and restrictive lung diseases, respiratory failure, lung cancer, occupational lung disease, and more. We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to join our Pulmonary team. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. As true partners to our nurses and providers, our Medical Assistants have the opportunity to work autonomously at the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of a collaborative team. Our practice has four physicians, with Medical Assistants rotating between providers to promote collaboration, skill development, and exposure to different practice styles. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role includes administrative support duties. The role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care.
