This Medical Assistant position specifically supports a primary care clinic that serves patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves providing patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider, scheduling appointments, performing patient intake, assisting with patient inquiries, directing phone calls, and other patient service duties. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing routine clinical and administrative tasks to support the provider, patients, and the assigned clinic area, thereby contributing to the overall quality of patient care.

Requirements

Registered/Certified Medical Assistant required.
Current CPR (BLS) Certification required.
Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including a Criminal Background check.
Must be able to work in a drug and alcohol-free workplace.

Responsibilities
