About The Position

This is a Full-Time position in our El Cajon clinic location. The typical schedule will be Monday -Friday from 8:00AM - 4:30PM. Under the direction and supervision of the Clinic Supervisor (Registered Nurse), takes vital signs of participants of St. Paul’s PACE. Escorts participants to exam rooms, and prepares participants to be seen in the clinic and assists providers physician and nurses in treatment. Ensures clinic flow for participant/provider visits is efficient and on time. Ensures exam rooms are prepared for provider use and stocked with appropriate supplies. Administers injections, does blood draws, INR’s, finger sticks, and obtains specimens. Responsible for entering all daily activities into electronic health record. Is also able to provide Spanish/English translation when needed.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification
• A minimum of one year’s experience in working with the frail or elderly population required.
• Shall have either training or related experience in the job assigned.
