This position is responsible for assisting clinicians and nursing staff in providing medical care, as well as, implementing and evaluating direct patient care. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment and skills to provide an excellent patient experience. A typical day as a Medical Assistant includes a variety of tasks to coordinate patient care and support providers in a clinic setting. You’ll manage medication authorizations, administer vaccinations and perform point-of-care testing, or testing near the patient care site. MAs also prepare patients for exams and treatment using skills such as administering injections, blood draws and EKGs. We currently have a full-time opportunity, supporting our multi-specialty clinic, at our Fort Collins location! This person will support the clinic in a direct patient care role working one on one with a provider or with multiple providers.
