About The Position

As a Medical Assistant in our practice, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive experience for every patient. You’ll often be the first clinical touchpoint for families, coordinating care, and ensuring each visit feels seamless. Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Strong knowledge and level of comfort with EPIC or other EMR system preferred
• One year of experience in a clinical environment
• Computer literacy
• CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs vitals, rooms patients and gathers specimens.
• Documents necessary information in the EMR.
• Collects specimens, performs in-office lab testing and prepares specimens for outside labs.
• Assists with in-office patient procedures per protocol and training.
• Contributes to the daily upkeep of office space and equipment.
• Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values.
• Performs cleaning and disinfection of instruments and equipment based on practice protocol.
• Performs digital health workflows and initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
