About The Position

Join our outpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals working toward recovery. Be part of a compassionate team dedicated to providing hope, support, and a path to lasting wellness. We are seeking Medical Assistants to join our team at our Parkside Recovery Program in our Germantown location in Philadelphia, PA location.

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Medical Assistant valid certification
• Minimum of one (1) year working as a medical assistant, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
• Must be able to work: Monday-Friday, 6:30-3:00pm

Nice To Haves

• Certification in phlebotomy

Responsibilities

• prepare rooms for examination
• maintain steady flow of individuals in medical department
• prepare electronic charts for providers
• assist providers with the examination of individuals
• measure vital signs
• draw and collect bodily fluids, prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• respond to medical emergencies
• complete EKGs
• complete required documentation in a timely manner
