About The Position
Provides nursing assistance and patient care to support patients’ comfort, safety, and personal needs. Assists physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting. Performs patient care duties as part of a multidisciplinary patient care team, as delegated by a physician. After competency is established, specific duties and responsibilities are determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff, and Practice Coordinator.
Requirements
- One year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities

- Assist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting.
- Perform patient care duties within a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by a physician.
- Carry out duties assigned by supervising physician(s), clinical staff, and the Practice Coordinator after competency is established.
