About The Position
Bookmark Medical is hiring a clinic-based, per diem (PRN) Medical Assistant to provide coverage based on clinic staffing needs and the candidate’s availability. Shifts are available Monday through Friday during clinic hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The clinics are closed on weekends, and hours and shifts may vary based on coverage needs. The Medical Assistant welcomes and rooms patients, takes vital signs, updates medical histories, and supports providers during examinations. The role also performs point-of-care testing and administers vaccines under supervision; documents care in the EHR; supports patient education, follow-ups, and communication; helps manage calls, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling; and keeps exam rooms clean and stocked while following safety guidelines. Requirements
- Accredited Medical Assistant training or equivalent experience.
- Medical Assistant certification.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
