About The Position

Neuhaus Foot and Ankle is seeking a Traveling Medical Assistant for their North Nashville district. This is a full-time position with a schedule of 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM, Monday through Friday. The role involves working closely with a foot and ankle doctor, assisting with patient preparation for exams and minor procedures, and handling administrative tasks. Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients from waiting room to treatment room
• Accompany the physician in the treatment room and document patient history, including history of present illness, review of systems, past medical and surgical history, family and social histories, medications and allergies.
• Document physical examination findings and procedures as performed by the physician
• Verify benefits for in office procedures, DME and custom orthotics
• Prepare lab work to be sent
• Help doctors and other team members as needed
• During non-clinic time, answer phones and follow up with patients
• Perform all other duties as assigned
• Traveling to other clinics as needed
• Giving high fives to colleagues
