About The Position
A professional multi-skilled person dedicated to assisting in all aspects of medical practice including administrative and clinical procedures under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be graduates of an approved Medical Assistant program.
- Less than one year or more of Medical Assistant experience
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of ambulatory healthcare or related healthcare fields
- Skilled in conflict resolution
- Ability to use computers
Nice To Haves
- Must obtain Medical Assistant certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
