Crispus Attucks High School - 1140 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202 What you’ll do as a Medical Assistant at HealthNet: Perform a variety of patient care services at school based clinic as directed by the Nurse Practitioner. Administrative responsibilities including supply ordering, vaccine management, managing documentation for EMR. Help triage needs of students presenting at the clinic. Team Structure - 1 Nurse Practitioner, 1 Medical Assistant School size - 1200 students, grades 9-12 Collect patient information. Prepare exam rooms, equipment, medical record and patients for visit and assist providers in patient exams and treatments. Assist with examination procedures. Perform general lab work. Administer injections and immunizations. Provide patient education, reproductive care needs and clerical support. Assist with sports physicals, PPDs.
