About The Position
We are seeking a dependable PRN Medical Assistant to support our clinical team on an as-needed basis. This role provides both clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent patient care. Ideal for someone seeking flexibility with no weekend work.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Medical Assistant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to multitask in a clinical setting
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems

Responsibilities
- Room patients, complete intakes, record vital signs, and document medical histories
- Administer injections, perform EKGs, run point-of-care tests, and collect/process urinalysis specimens
- Support physicians during physical exams and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate charts and enter clinical data into the EHR/EMR
- Manage referrals, prescription refills, patient messages, and appointment scheduling
- Scan paper records into the EHR
- Keep exam and lab rooms clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards
