This multifaceted role includes a variety of clinical and operational responsibilities that support our mission of providing exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience with Epic Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Responsibilities
- Performs essential clinic functions, including patient intake and processing.
- Assists providers with treatments and procedures.
- Provides patient instruction and education.
- Serves as a communication liaison between patients, medical providers, and licensed nurses.
- Performs quality control checks.
- Supports performance improvement initiatives.
- Stocks supplies.
- Sterilizes equipment.
- Manages patient records.
- Schedules patients.
