Medical Assistant
About The Position
The Medical Assistant works as part of the care team and assists the Physicians, APRNS and nursing staff in the provision of primary health care. The MA is responsible for providing routine non-professional care of patients. Attendance is an essential job function. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be qualified in Basic Life Support techniques.
- Marijuana card is prohibited according to Act 593
- Facial Piercings not allowed
- Must pass a pre employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant (MA) Certification is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in Electronic Health Records (EHR) Systems preferred but not required.
