About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Greensboro, NC and Winston-Salem, NC. This role functions as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model. Clinic staff are on-site full time. Organized scheduling and patient flow. Coordinated, team-based care environment. Value-based model focused on seniors. Our clinical assistants play a key role in supporting providers and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of medical assistant experience
- Medical Assistant Certification or Registration
- Experience working with senior populations
Responsibilities
- Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits (providers are optometrist, podiatrist)
- Support patient intake and basic documentation
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
- Assist with equipment setup and patient flow
- Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
