About The Position

The IRMC Pain Clinic is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to join their team. This role requires strong multitasking and organizational skills to effectively manage patient registration, scheduling, and assist providers with procedures and office visits in an outpatient or ambulatory setting.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Medical assistant certification.
• BLS certification (or obtain within one month of hire).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with registration and scheduling of patients in an outpatient or ambulatory setting.
• Experience with insurance verifications and obtaining authorizations for procedures and patient testing.
• Knowledge of assisting providers with procedures and office visits.
• At least two years' experience as a Medical Assistant in an office or ambulatory setting.
