About The Position

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, full-time. Day shift, M-F 8-430pm. You will work at the UW Health 2404 Charles St Clinic. We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT) to: Play a vital role in patient care by rooming patients, collecting vitals, performing EKGs and phlebotomy, and assisting with treatments in a fast‑paced, team‑driven clinical environment. Build hands-on clinical expertise while working closely with providers to support procedures, coordinate care, and respond to patient needs. Be part of a high-quality, safety-focused team by maintaining clean, fully stocked exam rooms, supporting infection control, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation in Epic. Requirements

Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Laboratory and phlebotomy training required within 30 days of hire.
Drug and alcohol screening, and N95 training required within 30 days of hire.
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting.
RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire.
Bi-Annual CPR certification.
Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained.
Audiometry certification through Northern Illinois University or Health Conservation, Inc. (HCI), required within 30 days of hire.
