Medical Assistant l Preadmissions (PATT)
About The Position
Join our dynamic team as a Medical Assistant in Preadmissions, where your compassionate care and organizational skills will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient journey. We are looking for someone to provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients by greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile and setting the tone for their appointment. In this role, you will support patients who are preparing for future surgical procedures (Preadmission Testing and Teaching - PATT). You will also assist patients seeing providers in our department and handle various tasks related to their pre-surgical planning. This includes updating patient information in charting systems, taking vitals, and having hands-on experience working on procedures with nurses and providers. You will partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN Or High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification
- BLS CPR for healthcare workers
- Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date.
