The position also requires communicating with patients regarding follow-up care, surgeries, procedures, changes in schedule, symptoms, and surgery scheduling. Maintaining and cleaning all equipment, reporting irregularities, instilling eye drops, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and checking expiration dates on medications are also key responsibilities.
