About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and clinically skilled Medical Assistant to support providers in both clinical and administrative functions. The role focuses on ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient support in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program
• BLS certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

• 2–5 years of Medical Assistant experience
• Experience in primary care, specialty clinics, or urgent care settings
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• Certification as CMA or RMA
• Clinical experience with wound care, splinting, suture removal, or procedural assistance

Responsibilities

• Manage patient flow and document clinical information in EMR systems
• Record vital signs, medical histories, and medication updates
• Prepare and maintain complete and accurate patient charts
• Assist with medication refills, prior authorizations, and patient communication
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical readiness
• Coordinate scheduling, patient intake, and communications
• Perform clinical procedures including: EKGs, Phlebotomy, Vaccinations
• Assisting with in-office procedures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and patient confidentiality (HIPAA)
