We're seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing private practice in Cottonwood Heights, just 20 minutes south of Salt Lake City. Requirements

• Medical Assistant certification preferred, but experience will be considered in place of certification
• Familiarity with medical terminology, clinical equipment, and EHR systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented with excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and prepare them for their appointments
• Take and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
• Administer injections and medications as directed
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
• Assist with wound care and dressing changes
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EHR)
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care
• Verify insurance information and assist with administrative duties
• Manage medical supplies and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
• Educate patients on treatments, medications, and preventive care
