Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Physical ability to assist patients during in-office procedures.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to connect with patients and colleagues.
  • A passion for learning and a drive to stay updated on the latest in-patient care.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • A compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a professional attitude.
  • A positive attitude and a professional appearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (but not required).
  • Previous experience in healthcare or rehabilitation is highly desirable.
  • Experience with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMRs) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Pain Management provider with in-office injections and minor procedures.
  • Answer patient inquiries with empathy, providing reassurance and clear information.
  • Provide patients with detailed instructions for their care, both in the clinic and at home, helping them feel confident in their recovery.
  • Ensure that treatment areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked with necessary medical supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with a Pain Management Physician, Neurologist, and other team members to streamline patient care and clinic operations.
  • Manage phone messages, answer questions, and coordinate patient, physician, and pharmacy communications.
  • Other duties as assigned
